Position Overview: This person will work with the Member Advocacy team (indirect patient contact) to create and improve processes within the department. These processes work to provide great patient interactions, effective payment processing, innovative scheduling services, and efficient medical care pricing negotiations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Negotiate pricing with providers on behalf of members Pay medical providers Schedule member appointments with providers for best in-service representation Work with team to setup processes and procedures to have department running effectively Work to continually find ways to improve processes to maximize efficiency Create a surgery payout method Required Work Experience, Skills, and Abilities Experience working in an account payable or similar payment's role Ability to create and establish efficient processes and standards Understanding of basic math Ability to negotiate Strong interpersonal skills Professional level of written and verbal communication Ability to pay close attention to details Efficient manager of time Working ability in Microsoft Suit Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Paid time off (PTO) Short-term disability insurance Life Insurance Paid holidays Compensation: Starting between $18 an hour Job Posted by ApplicantPro
