Responsibilities
• Meet, greet, and assist patients promptly and professionally• Set up and update patient information in the EMR system• Schedule appointments and coordinate walk-in patients• Answer phone calls and relay messages when necessary• Maintain the front desk and reception area• Collect payments and process referrals• Balance cash register and ensure accurate credit payments• Explain fees, services, and policies• Perform other necessary duties
Requirements
• 1-2 years of medical administration or customer service experience• High school diploma or equivalent• Associates degree preferred• Medical and/or administration certifications preferred• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to maintain confidentiality• Strong computer skills• Strong attention to detail• Ability to work well in a team• Efficient time management and workload prioritization• Strong multitasking skills• Basic understanding of common medical terminology
