Registration and Appointments Greets patients in a friendly, welcoming manner Collects copays and payments from patients during the registration process prior to seeing the provider Verifies demographic information including phone number, address, pharmacy, email, and insurance changes with each visit Schedules follow up, physical, or telemedicine appointments for patients after their visit according to the stated guidelines provided. Provides clients with the necessary supports to complete their appointment including necessary paperwork Complete accurate registration information in both Collaborative MD billing system and Practice Fusion electronic medical records when registering new patients. Updating records with each client encounter Document Management and Phone Messaging Diligently manages incoming faxes daily, ensuring timely uploading to appropriate patient for provider review. Responsible for sending, in a timely manner, appropriate documents and/or medical records to patient, specialist, and health care facilities when directed. Responsible for answering the phone in a friendly, welcoming manner. Appropriately documents caller's message in the Electronic Medical Record and delivering to the appropriate Provider and/or staff member. Effectively communicating messages to patients in a clear and understandable manner as directed Administrative Duties
Attend monthly Clinical Staff meetings Maintain necessary usernames and passwords for insurance websites and office accounts. Maintain yearly HIPAA, OSHA, and CPR certification Provide cross coverage when needed within scope of practice Willingness to attend personal and professional development programs sponsored or supported by the office Growth potential to move into management position Work Remotely
