What will I do in this role with Garden Spot? Assists the Medicare Coordinator in processing Medicare A & B billings, including Medicare Replacement billings, via hard copy/electronic system in a timely fashion for Garden Spot Communities, and additional companies as required. Assists the Medicaid Coordinator by performing various duties relating to the Medicaid program for Garden Spot Communities, and additional companies as required. Assists the Coordinators in Maintaining Medicare and Medicaid files. Assists the Coordinators in Monitoring the Accounts Receivable Aging Report and follows up as necessary. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area or to requests from residents, staff personnel, etc., within given time frames. Documents follow-up to concerns in the resident's financial file, including contact person and information. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department, as well as with other units and departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed. Performs other duties as assigned. What do I need for this role with Garden Spot? One year of prior experience preferred. Familiar with Point Click Care and Microsoft Excel preferred. Training will be offered if needed. Proficient reading, writing, grammar skills; proficient mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient typing and data entry skills.
