Responsibilities
• Preparing patients for exams and treatments• Assisting providers with exams and minor in-office procedures• Coordinating and managing patient care• Providing clerical support with patient/client notifications and documentation• Maintaining a clean and functional environment• Ordering supplies and stocking patient care areas• Developing and maintaining effective communication with external and internal customers• Completing necessary on-boarding/orientation activities• Working under the direct supervision of providers• Interacting with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families, and external contacts
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program• Active Medical Assistant Certification• BLS certification• Strong computer skills• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities
