Summary The Gainwell Technologies Publications Department is looking for flexible, hardworking graphic design candidates who can elevate the written word by creating eye-catching designs. The chosen candidate will join our team of 15 dedicated communication professionals who enjoy working both independently and collaboratively in a supportive work community.
The graphic designer who fills this position will be responsible for creating designs for policy, instructional, and marketing communications for health care providers, members, and other groups. Qualified candidates will possess creativity and technical, project management, and people skills. All communications are produced on behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for whom Gainwell is a contractor.
Your role in our mission Develop and update graphic design projects tailored for Medicaid providers, partners, and members. Create design templates to support the Wisconsin Medicaid writing team's content creation efforts. Identify brand messaging and customize designs accordingly to maintain consistency and alignment with brand guidelines. Facilitate meetings aimed at generating visual assets suitable for a variety of platforms and audiences. Collaborate closely with writers and content experts to ensure visual elements complement and enhance written content effectively. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field OR 5+ years of relevant work experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience in graphic design work or internships. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Demonstrated strong written communication skills. Proven track record of effective project management and meeting deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal skills for successful collaboration within a team environment. What you should expect in this role Video cameras must be used during all interviews. Remote (work from home) In order to effectively work as a teleworker with Gainwell, employees Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload. The pay range for this position is $51,700.00 - $73,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
