MDM Data Engineer NOTE : This is a full-time employment opportunity. The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card). This is a hybrid (on-site and remote), preference given to candidates in the Boston MA area, however, travel expenses reimbursed for the ideal candidate.
Daily Responsibilities Develop and execute data profiling, data quality analysis and capture results for requirement recommendations and plan. Design, develop, and implement MDM. Recommending technologies and solutions. Assist in system analysis, design, development, and testing of patch releases and system upgrades. ETL development, support, and operations with an emphasis on Data Quality. Data warehouses and data lake concepts. Data Warehousing, Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Cataloging, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Dictionary, Data Mapping, Data Policy, and Data Governance. Gathe business requirements by collaborating with business users, stakeholders, and SMEs. Purview, Databricks, and Data Fabrics skills. Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). 7+ years of IT experience in Data Engineer, MDM roles. Must have strong experience with Azure Data (ADLS, Data Factory, Synapse or Data Fabric) not only with proof of concept but must have deployed solution in production. Must have prior experience working as a Data Engineer. Must have experience with Data Build Tool (DBT). Must have Data Warehousing experience, including best practices for organizing the data. Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and understanding of Master Data hierarchy and implemented multi-domain MDM. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing and data manipulation.
