Position Summary: The MBA Program Office coordinates, organizes, implements, and supports all academic and student services-related functions and activities related to the full-time MBA Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler. In addition to multiple special projects and special events, the responsibilities of the MBA Program office includes academic planning and course scheduling and student registration, organizing our summer pre-matriculant program, conducting MBA Orientation, overseeing global programs, providing guidance and support to student leadership, managing student and faculty awards, community and social events, and graduation ceremonies. In summary this office manages nearly all facets of the MBA Student experience both in and out of the classroom except for career management.
The MBA Student Engagement Manager works in Kenan-Flagler's Full-time MBA program, and reports to the Senior Associate Director of Student Engagement for Full-time MBA. The MBA Student Engagement Manager's responsibilities include managing financial reports (including the shadow budget), payment management, attendance, the FT-MBA Email Account, and planning for events held by the Program office and student organizations. In addition, this role serves as primary liaison with Facilities and the Department of Public Safety (parking).
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and documentation.
Skillful, persuasive communication and exceptional written communication skills for program-wide communications and website updates.
Must have the ability to manage the logistics of activities for several simultaneous programs of varying length, in various stages. This includes graduation, orientation events, and in-person classes.
Must have the ability to manage the programs while also handling frequent interruptions in the form of telephone calls, urgent e-mails and student requests that must be handled in a customer-friendly manner.
Some work during evenings and weekends is required. The ability to travel domestically and internationally is also required. Campus Security Authority Responsibilities: This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
