As a Marketing Designer you will play a crucial role in our marketing team, developing our innovative designs for marketing campaigns across various online and offline channels.
You will collaborate with the team to ensure our brand guidelines are met and effectively communicate our messaging to our clients. This role requires expertise in creating assets for websites, emails, digital advertising, print, presentations, and social media (both paid and organic).
What would your role look like?
Create visually appealing brand assets for all marketing channels, across multiple brands working within their brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in the pest industry.
Work effectively with other teams and departments, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Assist in growing organic traffic and revenue in line with business objectives and traffic and revenue targets.
Maintain website content and ensure it is relevant and up to date regarding products, seasonality, and trends to maximise SEO performance.
Work with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and curate engaging and purposeful content, including both SEO-optimised and engagement-focused content, that is aligned to trending search terms, product launches and campaigns.
Recurring monthly tasks to update components and other elements of the websites.
Assist the team with ad-hoc photography and filming when required.
Attend and assist with company events (may require overnight stays).
Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team.
We'd love it if you had some or all of the skills below, but don't worry if you don't! At Contego we've invested a lot into our training and development to ensure we're onboarding someone who fits the company and not the specification!
Experience in Design and/or Marketing preferably in B2B.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
Excellent creativity and ability to devise innovative ideas and concepts for marketing campaigns.
Ability to research and create mood boards to support design briefs.
An understanding of SEO and other digital marketing channels including PPC, digital PR, email, influencers, paid and organic social.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
