Manufacturing Summer Engineering Intern

The Manufacturing Engineer Summer Intern will work closely with the manufacturing team to support various aspects of the manufacturing process. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, optimize production efficiency, and ensure product quality.
Essential Functions Assist technical support and problem-solving skills for the Manufacturing department to meet quality and quantity objectives. Assist in lean manufacturing initiatives. Perform necessary testing for the department. Collaborate with manufacturing to write work instructions for new manufacturing processes. Assist manufacturing with initiating continuous improvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Solid Works Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Strong academic background with coursework in manufacturing processes and engineering principles. Willingness to apply coursework to hands-on tasks within the manufacturing floor. Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the success of the organization.
