Full-time onsite with paid relocation Our Award Winning Client , a nationally recognized leader in the construction product industry, is seeking a qualified individual to join their team as a Manager of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement.
Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive policies and strategies for extruded profile inventory management, focusing on quality assurance and risk reduction. Utilize various tools including A3's, Hoshin Plans, and Ishikawa diagrams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement practices. Oversee Quality Assurance Systems, including product design, process inspection, Test Lab Certification, calibration, and operations management. Spearhead process engineering and expansion efforts, ensuring adherence to AS9100 system accreditation standards. Organize quality-centric kaizen events tailored to departmental needs, fostering tangible and lasting enhancements. Collaborate with the New Product Development and Innovation team to establish quality standards for new and existing products. Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, setting industry benchmarks and planning for succession. Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methods to enhance process oversight. Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills in team development, supervision, training, and inspiration. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in leading lean manufacturing initiatives. 5-7 years of job-related experience. Expertise in metallurgical practices, including thermal-mechanical processing, heat treatment, laboratory testing, and statistical process control. Bachelor of Science Degree in metallurgy, technology, engineering, or a related field required; advanced technical degree preferred. Certifications such as ASQ, CQA, CQE, CQM, and Six Sigma highly valued. US Citizenship or Green Card Holders only apply.
