Join us and make adifference.Position SummaryThe GPS Data & Analytics delivery lead roleis accountable for delivery of identified projects and operations support of the Enterprise data lake.The role will be accountableforthe end-to-enddelivery of theof the data enablement projects and will also lead the production/operations team.Additionalresponsibilities includecoaching and mentoring thetechnicalteamof developersin designing, building, managing, andoperatingthe GPS – Enterprise data lake capabilitiesthroughout the technology lifecycle in support of Global Product Development and Supply– Data and Analytics Enablement organization.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, Lead,andMentor a team of data engineers,operationssupport,and testing resources tooperateand developdata and analytics focused capabilities in support of the Global Product Development andSupply organizationParticipate in theanalysis,design, build, manage,andoperatelifecycle of the enterprise data lake and analytics focused digital capabilitiesDevelopan understanding of the GPS data ecosystem across functional towers(Supply chain, Manufacturing, Product development, Quality, and Cell Therapy), and in the requiredtools &AWStechnologiesBuild awareness of the technology platform strategy and lead releases and make technical recommendations across the data ecosystemAbility to develop in Python, AWS Redshift/S3/ RDS, Native AWS Services, Database design and familiarity with Domino/data lake principlesEstablish relationships with key stakeholders to understand requirements for enhancements or prototypesProvideeffort and cost estimations whenrequiredto scale prototypesPartner with other data, platform, and cloud teams toidentifyopportunities for continuous improvements.Architect and develop data solutions according to legal and company guidelinesAssess system performance and recommend improvementsProvideeffort and cost estimations whenrequiredto scale prototypesPartner with other data, platform, and cloud teams toidentifyopportunities for continuous improvements.Accountable for managing the scopeand schedule for the assigned deliveriesResponsibleformaintainingof data acquisition/operational focused capabilitiesincluding:Data Catalog; User Access Request/Tracking; Data Use RequestQualifications & Experience3-5 years of experience ininformation technology fieldin developing AWS cloud native data lakesand ecosystemsDeeper understanding ofcloud technologies preferablyAWS and related servicesin delivering and supporting data and analytics solutions/data lakes 2-4years of experience withoperations and production support, andoptimizingthesupporting processDemonstratable experience in managing projects& priorities and adept at navigatingthrough deliveryuncertaintiesAt least3 years ofexperience in anonshore offshore delivery model and in managing thedelivery & teamexpectations appropriatelyPrior experience in global life sciences especially in the GPS functional area will be a plusPriori experience in Cloud technologies – preferably AWSand related capabilities such as storage, compute, catalogue, data virtualization will be a huge plusExperience working internationally with a globally dispersed team includingdiverse stakeholders andmanagement of offshore technical development team(s)Strong communicationand presentation skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineeringor equivalentis preferredProject Management (PMP) and / OR ITIL Service Management certification is a plus??Why You ShouldApplyAround the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.Empowered to apply our individual talents and diverse perspectives in an inclusive culture, our shared values of passion, innovation, urgency, accountability,inclusion,and integrity bring out the highest potential of each of our colleagues.Bristol Myers Squibb recognizes the importance of balance and flexibility in our work environment.
