PURPOSE : We are seeking a dynamic and strategic manager of digital media to join our corporate communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible globally for digital strategies and platforms that advance The Timken Company's corporate reputation and brand. The ideal candidate will be a creative and technical leader with experience in developing compelling digital platforms and experiences that increase stakeholder awareness and engagement. This individual will report to the vice president of corporate communications and serve on the communications leadership team.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Digital platforms: Responsible for the strategy, planning, development and governance of timken.com, a global web property with millions of visitors across 14 language sites Achieve a cohesive brand and user experience and drive site traffic and KPIs Oversee on-brand website content and design; site development, administration and performance; SEO strategies, analytics and reporting Own other corporate digital platforms, including the company's Intranet, and lead corporate digital initiatives and campaigns Social media : Lead the strategy for Timken's social media channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to expand audience reach and engagement Plan and deliver social content, campaigns and advertising to drive impactful results  Ensure responsible community management to uphold the company's reputation Partner with editorial and design teams and internal SMEs on the creative execution of social media content Analytics : Develop multichannel analytics and reports that deliver meaningful insights to optimize performance and ensure brand and communications goals are reached Global leadership :  Report to the VP of corporate communications and serve on the communications leadership team Lead high-profile strategic corporate brand and communications initiatives; serve as a trusted advisor to executives to advance the company's strategic agenda Provide leadership and direction to the global digital team, comprised of strategic vendor partners, communications and marketing colleagues, IT and other internal stakeholders MINIMUM QUALIFICATION : Education : Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field with at least 10 years of experience. Strategy : Brand, communications and digital strategist experienced in website and social media management. Drives decision making through analytics. Well-developed critical thinking skills. Possesses sound judgment and makes effective decisions aligned with corporate brand and reputational goals.  Communications : Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Expert content marketer and channel manager. Produces high-quality deliverables in brand voice and image. Strong attention to detail.  Leadership : Digitally savvy leader with experience managing technical teams. Uses influencing skills to gain consensus and alignment across matrixed teams. Demonstrates a highly professional image that inspires confidence. Exhibits grace under pressure under all circumstances.  Results : Ability to multitask, prioritize and focus to manage workflows and deadlines. Achieves objectives and KPIs.  Collaboration : Builds rapport with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results.
