This is an in-office role in Franklin, TN Here's just some of what you will be doing daily… Serve as the primary major gift representative to a portfolio of 100-150 of the organization's major gift donors. Generate a minimum of $3M annually in charitable gift contributions including financial and planned gifts to advance EMF ministries. Participate in each step of the donor pipeline including identification; qualification through research; cultivation; briefing; request for support; and prompt follow-up, stewardship, and recognition. Develop individual donor strategies to renew and upgrade donor gifts. Move donors to solicitation and closure in an appropriate and timely fashion. Provide active stewardship to those donors, keeping them apprised of ministry activities, the impact of their gifts, and opportunities to engage in ministry activities to engage those donors more fully in the ministry of EMF and spreading the word and love of Christ. Collaborate with Donor Engagement and Program teams to enhance donor relationships and create greater fundraising and outreach possibilities. Participate in departmental portfolio review process and partners in maintaining an organized system for donor stewardship by updating constituent records, as appropriate. Periodically participate in regional and national events that involved assigned portfolio donors. Ensure all calls, events, stewardship contacts, and information gathered in those activities are recorded in the donor's data record. Participate actively in Staff Meetings, Summits and Retreats. Adhere to guidelines and administrative procedures including submitting expense reimbursements, invoices, and contact report. Other duties as assigned to advance the EMF ministries. We are looking for a very specific skill set and business acumen. If you can say yes to each of these requirements, then we want to meet you! A minimum of 5 years of donor development and fundraising experience in major and planned gift solicitations or transferable, client relations/development experience in similar industries with the ability to master major gift and planned gift solicitations. Demonstrated ability to listen to and understand the goals, interests, and passions of major gift donors. Possesses effective time management and detail-oriented with the ability to manage and complete several projects at the same time. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of planned-giving and its complexities. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; and CRM experience in Salesforce is a plus. Ability to work strategically, set priorities, define goals and outcomes, detail tactics, and oversee execution. An individual who is flexible, collaborative, and proactive with the ability to lead, work in a team setting and work independently. Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong individual, foundation, and corporate ministry donor relationships. Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills. High energy professional with a proven ability to interact and influence philanthropic leaders. A commitment to accuracy, transparency, and accountability both internally and externally in conversations with donors and prospects, in marketing, and reporting. Possesses a high level of discretion and ethical approach to fundraising. Dedication to developing excellent relationships with others throughout the organization. Ability to mentor Team Members and help them grow spiritually and professionally, leading by example. Ability to attend events and donor meetings that may occur in the evenings and/or on weekends.
