MISSION:
The Maintenance Training Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the development and implementation of training programs for maintenance personnel. The role involves assessing training needs, designing curriculum, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives and making improvements as necessary to enhance the skills and performance of maintenance staff.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Ensure that training programs address the specific needs of maintenance personnel, focusing on technical skills, safety procedures, and job-related competencies.
Achieve high levels of satisfaction among maintenance personnel regarding the quality and relevance of training provided, leading to improved performance and job satisfaction.
Coordinate training activities efficiently, including scheduling sessions, securing resources, and managing logistical arrangements, to minimize disruption to operations.
Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and outcomes to track progress and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess training needs and gaps among maintenance personnel through collaboration with departmental managers, supervisors, and direct observation of work practices.
Develop comprehensive training curricula and materials tailored to the unique requirements of maintenance roles, incorporating industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Coordinate the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training experiences using a variety of instructional methods and techniques.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and external training providers to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and performance evaluations, soliciting feedback from participants and supervisors.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in training delivery and content based on feedback, performance data, and emerging industry trends.
Monitor regulatory requirements related to training and ensure that training programs align with applicable standards and guidelines.
Provide guidance and support to trainers, instructors, and facilitators involved in delivering maintenance training, offering resources, coaching, and feedback as needed.
Stay abreast of developments in maintenance practices, technology, and safety protocols to incorporate into training programs and keep content up to date.
