Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Wayland, MI . This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Perform routine and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance on all machines and equipment
Diagnose source of problem or potential problem and maintains or repairs machines or equipment as needed
Diagnose situation or problem, plans and schedules course of action necessary to prevent breakdowns i.e. preventive maintenance, and makes repairs or improvements to machines/equipment
Performs basic electrical repairs
Installs, removes, fabricates, alters, and rebuilds machines/equipment to achieve desired results and comply with all code requirements
Operate equipment to ensure effectiveness of repairs and safe operation of equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals in order to perform repairs
Operate testing equipment, powered hand tools, torches, welders, and precision measuring equipment
Assist other maintenance members and serves as resource to engineering and management
