Maintenance Technician

Role Responsibilities A Maintenance Crew Person holds the responsibility for two roles:
o Work Order Completion Assistance – in this role, the crew person assists crew lead people as they perform their role of ensuring that work orders received from the customer are completed to both customer and company specifications.
o Crew Trainee – this role ensures crew people are learning the Alloy Way of job completion, gaining experience and learning new skills.
Sample of tasks and duties WORK ORDER COMPLETION · Run the saw
· Operate overhead cranes
· Operate the forklift
· Welding
· Obtain work permits
· Fitting and assembling:
o Read drawings
o Verify all parts match specifications
o Tack weld
· Perform job walks
· Provide design solutions for customers
· Prepare timesheets accurately
· Complete work orders within customer budgeted time and Alloy time standards
· Accurately measure for and order materials
· Maintain Alloy vehicles
· Determine tool and equipment needs
· Be available for on-call rotation
CREW TRAINEE · Follow directions from crew leads
· Learn the Alloy Way of job completion
· Learn new skills
· Assist crew leads as needed
Qualification to hold Role ? Physically capable to perform construction work
? Familiarity with construction work
? Knowledge and ability to work safely within customer and Alloy safety standards
Metrics for Success ? New skill acquisition
