Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

HCI is a leading multi-unit management company based in Manhattan, Kansas. HCI's largest brand is Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers franchises with 40+ locations throughout the Midwest, Texas, and East Coast. HCI manages three locally owned and operated restaurants in Manhattan and Junction City and offers full-service catering to the central Kansas area. In 2021 HCI added Booth Creek Wagyu, Meatworks of Kansas processing plant in Riley, KS, and Booth Creek Wagyu Retail store in Manhattan. The newest additions were developed in 2023, adding two retail stores, one in Overland Park and Wichita, KS.
Job Description HCI is now hiring a full-time, office-based Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to work in our home office in Manhattan, Kansas. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring that equipment, machinery, and other assets are regularly maintained to prevent breakdowns and downtime.
Responsibilities Developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules and work orders. Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance activities. Ensuring that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs. Procuring necessary maintenance supplies and equipment. Working with vendors and contractors as needed. Qualifications Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software. Good knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
