Maintenance Engineer Technician

Maintenance Engineer Technician Location Waldorf, MD : As a hotel Maintenance/Engineer you will performs a variety of duties related to the smooth upkeep and maintenance of a hotel's operations on both the interior and exterior. As a hotel Maintenance/Engineer, your job duties will be to inspect and repair various energy systems, such as the heating and cooling systems, plumbing, lighting, and kitchen equipment. You will also assist with repairing floors, roofs, and doors and installing new products, such as televisions, carpets, and light fixtures. Qualifications for this position include a mechanical aptitude, organization, attention to detail, and physical stamina. Requirements: · 3 years minimum of Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance/Engineer Technicians
· In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
· Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus
· Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management)
· Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
· Problem-solving aptitude
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills
· High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management is preferred
Valid Certified Professional Maintenance Man
