Responsibilities
• Roll wire mesh using a cage wire rolling machine• Read and interpret production shop drawings• Maintain machine cleanliness• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting• Understand manufacturing processes• Learn how to tack weld and use a torch• Learn how to operate a forklift and overhead cranes• Work closely with Plant Supervisor• Produce wire cages as per production schedule
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Safety minded and willing to learn• Experience in construction/building materials preferred• Occasional heavy lifting may be required• Mechanically inclined and ability to stand for entire shift
