Machine Maintenance Technician

Purpose of Job: Provide machining services for the production and maintenance group in support of production and facilities machine repairs and improvements. 

Duties: Performs set up of lathes, mills, grinders, for precision machining operations. Performs standard maintenance on lathes, mills, and grinders as per schedule. Works from drawings, sketches, and measurements to transfer information to proper machine setups. Utilizing machine set up from drawings and sketches, fabricating parts to specifications. Works with Maintenance Technicians to identify worn machine parts to fabricate new ones. Assists maintenance technicians in troubleshooting machine malfunctions, and providing ideas for improvement. Fabricates components in a precision fashion to support proper machine operation. Maintains workshop in a clean, orderly fashion by 6S principles. Utilize correct PPE at all times for general and specialized job functions. Experience: One year of machining experience. #CNC #lathes #nowhiring #vip #machine #fabricate #ABQ
