Position: Associate GTAC (Global Trade Access Compliance) Export Documentation
Location: Springdale, AR
Duration: 4 Months
Job Description: This position is 100% onsite and involves assisting with various export documentation tasks including mail receipt, document printing, organizing documents, filing, scanning, dispatching documents via FedEx, and data tracking. The workload consists of processing approximately 100 export orders per day, with busier days typically falling on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Additionally, there will be a data entry component for mail status updates, confirming receipt, etc. Mail-related tasks will involve using high-speed scanners to upload received paperwork to a shared file.
Notes from the Manager: Schedule: Some flexibility, but an 8-5 schedule is expected, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work based on workload. Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Office Experience: Prior distribution and transportation experience is preferred, but any office experience will suffice. Candidates with experience in international document exporting or data entry are preferred. Soft Skills: Reliability and the ability to multitask are crucial. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to process 100 export orders daily and should have a track record of reliability in previous roles. Interviews: Virtual, one round with both managers. Manager Expectations: This position primarily involves manual, paper-driven tasks and is not suited for candidates seeking roles involving SOP writing or upper-level work. Other duties may include organizing office supplies as assigned by the manager. Requirements: Education: High school diploma (Associate's degree preferred). Candidates should not be overqualified as this is an entry-level position with physical aspects such as opening and sending mail. Experience: Minimum 2 years of office clerical experience, with administrative assistant/general office experience being acceptable. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft Basic programs. Special Skills: Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn, ability to work independently or as part of a team, strong problem-solving skills, time management and multitasking abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
