Town & Country Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced technician to join our dedicated team. As a vital member of our clinic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled veterinarians and support staff while providing compassionate care to our patients.
Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, including blood draws and X-rays Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian Monitor patients during procedures and recovery, ensuring their comfort and safety Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files as needed Educate clients on proper pet care and preventive health measures- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the clinic and treatment areas Requirements: Licensed veterinary technician with a minimum of 3yr of experience Proficiency in technical skills such as venipuncture, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work occasional evenings and holidays as needed We are currently hiring for a full-time position beginning in July.
