e are seeking qualified candidates for
Lead Person for our 2nd
Shift (Monday to Thursday - 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.)
at our
Byhalia, Mississippi Distribution Center .
Responsibilities of the position include:
The Lead Person will be responsible for performing other warehouse tasks assigned by the Receiving Operations Supervisor/Manager. This person will be responsible for accurately completing all receiving documentation and/or all computer system entries.
Training new hires on proper driving techniques and work processes.
Verifying containers in the dock door at the start of shift.
Assigning work according to daily priorities.
Ensuring that team members are following all safety rules.
Assistant at the receiving desk as needed.
Requirements of the position include:
HS Diploma is required
Experience working in a warehouse/distribution environment.
Proven ability to show high attention to detail.
Must have demonstrated leadership abilities.
WMS experience
Forklift Certified
Physical Demands:
This position requires frequent sitting and standing. Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, and stand/walk for up to 4 hours at a time & push/pull/lift to 45 pounds.
