Job Description SummaryThe Production Supervision Manager will perform daily operations of the plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities :Provide oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees Manage hourly employee populations Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizationWork together with business leadership at Directorial and Executive level.Specify needs, communicate about project approach and present outcomes of research done Deliver products as part of a team Work on cross functional teams Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methodsDeveloping in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.In depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
