Job Summary: The Department of Neuroscience seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Laboratory Technician Senior. The candidate for this position will be responsible for assisting with data collection and analysis for genetics, cell biology, or neuroscience experiments, managing lab resources, and keeping accurate detailed records.
Skills /Knowledge/Abilities: MS Office, image analysis, and database management. Strongly prefer knowledge or experience with molecular biology, light microscopy, biochemistry, or genetics. Strong writing and communication skills
Position Time Status: Part-Time
Required Education: BS
Required Related Experience: 1 yr
Required License/Registration/Certification : None
Preferred Education/Experience: Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related field. Experience with spreadsheets or database software for data analysis and record keeping.
