Position Title: Kit Assembler
Schedule: 1st Shift Full Time
Position Summary: Responsible for accurately determining kit components, required quantity for assembly, placing counted components neatly in the kit box and follow kit packaging guidelines already set forth (some kits require building/folding a custom carton). This position will generate identification labels for each kit from PC. May process assembled component sets (e.g. books, CDs, paper, etc.) through shrink-wrap machine, processing between 600 and 1,000 sets daily. As processed, apply the identification labels to kit boxes or shrink wrapped sets, box completed sets and place on pallet. May use a pallet jack to move kit components to set-up line as well as move pallets in and out of loading window.
Position and Experience Requirements: Training is provided, no previous experience necessary. We provide our employees with on-the-job training and skill development opportunities.
Ability to read and write in English required. Physical Demands: Ability to learn safe operations of forklift and be comfortable selecting stock from 20' high reach racks. Requires the ability to lift boxes that range in weight of up to 50 lbs.
