OUR POSITION IN A NUTSHELLWe are seeking a leader to join our global team and work full time at our Cleveland Headquarters reporting into the Chief Financial Officer. This individual serves as a key member of the organization, supporting business functions by providing financial direction and insight including the identification and reporting of value drivers and business KPI's, helping functions deliver their short term and long-term goals through proactive day-to-day support, challenge, influence and insight. Furthermore, this role will have oversight on the development of the annual planning process, rolling forecasts, pricing analysis and analytical tools / reporting to aid business decision making and timely execution of initiatives. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must for this position.
YOUR FOOTPRINT AT DWELLWORKSAs the Manager, Financial Planning & Data Analytics at Dwellworks, you will be involved in all facets of the business and serve as a business partner to all functional leaders across the globe. Day to day work will involve heavy communications with local and global operators and sales teams to assist with analysis, forecasting, and planning to drive fact driven insight to obtain desired business outcomes. You will be able to work with various business leaders on a variety of highly visible initiatives that support the day-to-day operations as well as execution of business strategies. WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISHAssess and enhance our existing operational and financial data reporting capabilities with internal stakeholders and Information TechnologySpecifically, assessment of the existing data captured, reported and needed to support profitable growth strategies of the busines.Key team member in the development and execution of our data science roadmapProvide oversight in the completion of forecasting, planning, and analysis for over 30 business units across the globePartner with business leaders and CFO to drive financial performance improvements related to revenue, pricing, and direct and operating costsAnalyze financial and operational data, draw conclusions and present recommendations or insight for decisions and actionsDevelop, analyze and report on key drivers of the business performance, including monthly and quarterly results and variance analysisDevelop and maintain structure around pricing analytics for new and existing products, price increases / reduction, and RFP'sOversee all financial and operational adhoc reporting requests by scheduled deadlinesDevelop efficient ways to produce and deliver key reporting / analysisProvide reporting and data analysis on a project-by-project basisDevelop new reporting / analytics requirements based on market, customer, strategic and business needsSupport acquisition diligence, financial modeling and integration requirements as necessaryPerform adhoc projects and research as necessaryWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORYour Experience & Education (Required) 7-10+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and data analyticsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economicsAdvanced MS Office Suite skills: Excel and PowerPoint power userPrevious experience leading and coaching a team of direct reportsYour Experience (Preferred) Master's degree in business, data analytics or related fieldsGlobal corporate experienceExperience with NetSuite and PBCS (Hyperion)Use of Power BI or related dashboard productsExperience with Access, SQL, VBAYour Additional Skills and Abilities Exceptional analytical skills, with extreme attention to detail, accuracy and accountability balanced with sound business judgementAbility to multitask and prioritize / complete tasks with minimal support or supervisionLean Agile mindset; the ability to identify and drive execution to process improvement projectsComfortable organizing, manipulating and analyzing large sets of dataAble to handle confidential informationExceptional communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate in a constructive and professional mannerAbility to articulate financial and operation data and insight in verbal and written formatsStrong interpersonal skills; works effectively with others in a collaborative team environmentWhile we think the above requirements are important, we're flexible and would welcome your application if you believe that you have other valuable experience.
