Job Details
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex IT projects within the DoD, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and report on project status to stakeholders regularly.Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring they are appropriately identified, assessed, and resolved.Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.Ensure compliance with DoD and military standards and regulations in all project activities.Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices within the organization.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within the DoD or military environment.Strong understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and experience in applying project management methodologies (such as Agile) in a practical setting.Proficiency in software development and data collection techniques.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management abilities.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.U.Scitizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
