Mercy Northwest Arkansas is currently seeking full-time; board certified/board eligible Palliative Care physician to join our clinic practice in Rogers, AR. Join a thriving health care system recognized both locally and nationally for providing exceptional care while remaining on the forefront of the rapidly changing medical field. Act as the palliative care physician resource for inpatient medical, critical care, and surgical services To work with hospital leadership to innovate and expand the program eventually to the outpatient setting Work with a well-established, highly skilled and mutually supportive team of hospitalists and specialty providers IM residency program at Mercy NWA Hospital through UAMS, which provides an opportunity to teach and model palliative care communication skills and symptom management strategies for adults struggling with complex, serious illnesses Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals who are dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to our patients during hospitalization and post-discharge. Resources include a team of knowledgeable case managers, a dedicated hospital ethicist and a group of experienced chaplains who have a strong interest in palliative care.
