Responsibilities
• Use AX to check equipment and install components into the rack following the diagram.• Install cables and labels as documented, power on components, and perform power redundancy testing.• Configure servers, complete bench testing, and perform configuration updates as required.• Follow Quality Control processes, troubleshoot equipment, and make support calls to vendors.• Complete IP updates, install license keys, and capture network interface MACs.• Acquire additional skills, maintain technical competencies, and post data to internal systems.
Requirements
• Associates Degree or Technical certifications in Computer Science or relevant work experience.• Minimum 2 years of experience with rack and stack and structured cabling.• Minimum 1 year experience working on common rack integration projects.• Ability to work under tight time constraints and pay attention to detail.• Technical problem-solving skills, comprehension of technical documentation.• Organizational, planning, troubleshooting, and structured cable routing skills.
