Integrated Marketing Communications Manager Location Redmond, WA (Overlake area) : The Global Demand Center (GDC) is leading marketing transformation at Microsoft. In the GDC, we lead digital-first sales motions, customer engagement marketing at scale, campaigns to celebrate launches, events to strengthen customer connection and product understanding, plus relationship marketing designed to onboard, and deepen brand love. All the while we are building a rich understanding of the propensity of accounts to purchase, supporting sellers with signals for better account planning and opportunity generation. Using advanced analytics, marketing automation, and digital marketing, we are on a mission to drive market share, consumption, and consistent double-digit+ revenue growth. Working globally across segments and audiences, central to this effort is an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager aligned to editorial planning for Copilot. This role will require a deep passion for cross-team collaboration, the ability to rationalize against a multi-faced, complex ecosystem and bring together a clear and comprehensive view. This role will need to influence across multiple parts of the organization to create across team landing plans for customer-focused, integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and education of our Copilot story for Modern Work. As an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategy across various channels. Your mission will be to identify, align, and amplify the impact of compelling and engaging content that resonates with our audiences. Responsibilities Editorial Management Build and manage an editorial process to bring together marketing activities and content into an audience-focused monthly calendar and work with channel leads to execute consistently across channels. Organize and prepare assets, including long form content, videos, social/blog, and visuals, ensuring they are primed for hand-off to the designated teams. Editorial Communications Lead weekly and monthly meetings to secure alignment across teams, effectively managing editorial communications. Oversee timelines, secure approvals, and manage distribution. Encourage collaboration among contributors. Prepare and deliver internal communications to ensure strategic alignment and extend reach to global teams. Facilitate a cohesive understanding of editorial objectives and initiatives across all levels of the organization. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work in tandem with diverse teams to devise monthly editorial calendars tailored for various audiences. Align these calendars with overarching marketing objectives, messaging themes, and product introductions. Adapt the calendars dynamically based on performance metrics and feedback from stakeholders. Co-Creative Storytelling Co-create, facilitate, and orchestrate compelling storytelling that resonates deeply with target audiences, maximizing impact and consistency across all content narratives. Uphold editorial guidelines to guarantee uniformity in tone, style, and messaging. Keep abreast of industry trends and adopt best practices. Editorial Optimization Work with channel teams to understand performance and feedback from channel execution and infuse learnings and insights into editorial strategy and plan optimizations. Other Embody our Culture and Values Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field AND 1+ year(s) integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, editorial strategy, content strategy, or related work experience OR equivalent experience 1+ years of experience creating marketing editorial plans Preferred Qualifications 3+ years in integrated marketing (e.g., editorial strategy, social media, campaign, content strategy) Experience developing content strategies and managing digital content development Refined communication skills and the proven ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization Results-focused with a deep sense of accountability and experience driving large projects from start to finish Experience nurturing customer relationships at scale Understanding of the business to business (B2B) tech buying committee and purchase cycles Strategic mindset including interpreting data to inform strategy and execution Collaborative with experience developing relationships with a diverse range of partners Integrated Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $80,900 - $162,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,300 - $176,900 per year.
