Intake Coordinator

INTAKE COORDINATOR
The Blick Center has an exciting opportunity available. We are looking for an outstanding new team member for our Intake Coordinator position. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Ensuring the Center's favorable first impression and shaping the interactions an individual will continue to have with the agency. Providing information on the services available through Blick. Assisting individuals, families, legal guardians, and advocates through the referral process. Explaining evaluation/assessment process. Determining service and financial eligibility, and Scheduling the initial assessment. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to multitask and work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Friendly demeanor with good interpersonal skills. REQUIRED EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Administrative support experience. Knowledge of Intake/Admissions and Scheduling role. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, Managed Care, and private/commercial insurances is preferred. Experience in the Mental Health and Developmental Disability fields is a plus.
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8a-5p, in Akron, OH. We offer excellent benefits and paid time off, in addition to a 401k plan with 100% match up to 6% of your salary.
