Instrument Mechanic Biology Service Facility The Division of Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville invites applications for the Technical Specialist 1 position within the Biology Service Facility (BSF). This is a non-exempt, 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track, market range 07 staff position with a working/position title of Instrument Mechanic.

The Division of Biology: The Division of Biology houses three different departments: Microbiology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Biochemistry, Molecular, and Cellular Biology. The Position: Reporting to the Technical Manager, the primary purpose of the position is to develop, modify, maintain and repair specialized scientific equipment for faculty, staff, and students involved in teaching and research at UT Knoxville, College of Veterinary Medicine, and the Institute of Agriculture.
