Inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant

The Inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant will join a 20+ bed, non-profit medical center and assist in their Rehabilitation Department. This hospital is well-established and is a key health resource in its community.
The Rehabilitation Department at this medical center provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services within Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. The Physical Therapy department specifically provides services such as adaptive equipment training, manual therapy, gait training and neuromuscular re-education. 
The Inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant will report directly to the Physical Therapy Manager and will assist experienced Physical Therapists. The Physical Therapist Technician will provide excellent care by assisting with exercises that help restore proper function in patients struggling with a variety of ailments. They will encourage participation and provide supervision to patients participating in treatment exercises.  Requirements for this role include, completion of a nationally-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and at lease 1 year of experience working as a Physical Therapy Technician in a healthcare setting.
