Industrial Engineer We are looking for a Industrial Engineer who will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead, and who'll be tasked with creating and maintaining manufacturing processes and
tooling to produce Alumacraft fishing boats. As part of your role, you'll be working on the leading edge of manufacturing to bring new and exciting boat designs to reality in a production environment.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Improve and develop new methods and approaches to process applications and recommend solutions to the team. Ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness on the production floor that are in accordance with company policies and procedures. Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying value-added and non-value-added activities to solve manufacturing challenges. Prepare documentation for new and existing manufacturing processes and engineering procedures. Design layout of equipment or workspaces to achieve maximum efficiency and safety. YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: Required: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering. Knowledge and practical experience with time studies and line balancing to improve operational efficiency. Must be willing to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment across multiple levels of the organization. 1+ years of work or internship experience in relation to the role. Preferred: Strong written and verbal communication and ambitious personality to make changes within the organization. Previous assembly experience in a production environment is preferred.
