Responsibilities
• Communicate effectively with appropriate departments/individuals• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and determine root cause• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and high voltage systems• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems• Maintain knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, distribution control, fluidic, and electrical systems/components• Perform necessary maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment• Utilize SAP maintenance module and computers for information and documentation• Work with diagnostic equipment and tools• Operate mobile equipment for material transportation
Requirements
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work at heights for extended periods• AC/DC troubleshooting experience required• Knowledge of melting, casting, and rolling process preferred• Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience preferred• MRO system and SAP system experience preferred• Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance principles and techniques• Operate mobile equipment, including loaders, cranes, man-lifts, brick-lifts, and forklifts• Siemens and/or other PLC troubleshooting experience required• High School Diploma or GED required
