In-Home Therapy Services Intern

Program Summary : The In-Home Family Therapy Services program assists families in dealing with and resolving stress, while strengthening the family unit itself. It is our philosophy that children and youth respond best when treated in a familiar environment that allows parents, siblings, guardians and other family-identified parties of importance to comfortably participate and collaborate. Intern Position Summary : Under the administrative/clinical supervision of the In-Home Supervisor/ Field Instructor, the In-Home Services Intern will provide clinical care and training to clients in a community based setting. Alongside our multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and specialists, you will work to develop, implement and manage specialized treatment plans for our clients and their families year-round.  Intern Experience Details : As the In-Home Services Intern, you will be responsible for providing the following services, including, but not limited to:

  Collaborate with all family members and community stakeholders involved with the family to promote the best outcomes Co-facilitating family therapy, crisis management and coordination of care within the Functional Family Therapy model Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients on an assigned and an as needed basis Other services necessary to the enrichment of the internship environment. Location : This position is based in the community. We have locations in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina and Summit County.   Hours : Field hours are flexible. Occasional evening work should be expected. Qualifications : This internship is for second year Masters' level students. Therefore, a Bachelor's Degree and enrollment in a related Master's program is required. An SWT, CT, LPC, MFT or LSW is required.
