Responsibilities
• Working with (copper) refrigeration line sets to construct, build, install, and repair equipment• Identifying equipment maintenance risks and hazards• Maintaining collaborative working relationships with customers and coworkers• Performing installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems• Performing installation of HVAC-related equipment• Understanding the principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating• Using hand and power tools associated with the HVAC field• Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working condition• Addressing customer concerns before, during, and after service visits• Following occupational health and safety regulations
Requirements
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, components, tools, and materials related to HVAC-R industry• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and diagrams• Must be able to travel out of the area for work• Be able to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items• Demonstrate mechanical competence and skills• Excellent verbal and communication skills• Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work independently in a timely manner
