Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying talent to onboarding new employees. This position requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for fostering employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the recruitment process for various positions within the company using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Create and maintain innovative job postings to attract top talent. Utilize tools such as 16 Personalities to identify qualified candidates. Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future positions. Engage with candidates on social media platforms. Conduct interviews and coordinate onsite interviews with hiring managers. Facilitate the onboarding process in collaboration with hiring managers. Coordinate pre-employment screenings such as background checks and drug tests. Promote and organize employee engagement activities. Maintain accurate employee files and roster. Represent Valley at job fairs and recruitment events. Support HR projects as assigned by senior management. Assist with employee safety training administration and tracking. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary. Uphold integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems. Education and Experience: Minimum of one year of office or human resource management experience preferred. SHRM or PHR Certification preferred. Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Previous CDL recruiting experience is a plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Mobility to access and navigate various departments within the organization's facilities.
