Human Resources Manager
Currently hiring a Human Resources Manager to join our Management Team. A Heavy Civil Construction contractor based in Montana. We specialize in water resources, dam construction and environmental projects. The Human Resources Manager, working closely with the management team, will originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, and continuous improvement.
Minimum qualifications include: Experience in the construction field and OFCCP requirements, a bachelor's degree in the Human Resources field, Experience with HR software (Viewpoint HR management experience preferred). This is a full-time position that reports to the CEO. Qualified candidates will exhibit strong ethics and morals. Candidates should be highly detail oriented, able to work independently, multi-task, enjoy interfacing with other staff at all levels, possess excellent skills in verbal and written communication.
* Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Managing the hiring process, including advertising open positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating, and conducting interviews, conducting reference and background checks, drafting offer letters
* Managing the on-boarding process for new employees
* Maintaining up-to-date personnel information and files
* Administering and tracking of employee benefits
* Completing and submitting paperwork to external agencies for reporting requirements
* Maintaining the employee handbook
* Overseeing the annual employee review process
* Creating jobsite specific HR policies and procedures
* Occasional travel to jobsites and for recruitment
* Conduct HR related training
* Other duties as assigned

* Salary depending on qualifications and experience, paid vacation time, 401K plan with matching funds
