Responsibilities
• Ensure test reports are correct, complete, and clear for clients.• Become an expert in the clinical features, genetics, and sequence variant interpretation for each disorder and gene within their portfolio.• Build and maintain a portfolio of clinical DNA tests.• Write and update test descriptions.• Work with sales and marketing staff to prepare advertising literature and interact with clients.• Contact key clinicians and researchers in portfolio areas.• Provide outstanding service to clients, including low turnaround times.• Manage confidential information.• Apply strong written and verbal communication skills.• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.• Solve intellectual and practical problems and comprehend complex concepts.• Work and solve problems independently.• Communicate complex information to technicians and other personnel.• Uphold company mission and values.• Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.• Act with an inclusion mindset and model inclusive behaviors.• Work according to designated schedule.• Comply with personal protective equipment requirements.
Requirements
• Doctorate Degree in the biomedical sciences.• Background in genetics.• 3+ years of relevant experience in a clinical genetics laboratory.• Ability to perform essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
