POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for following proper audit procedures to balance the hotel's daily revenue and expense transactions. Performs front desk agent duties and resolves guest issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for specific positions.
Audit, balance, post, and report on front desk, rooms, and all food and beverage/retail outlets' cash and credit operations and, if required, reset all POS to ensure accurate, timely function and optimal operations management. Provide Hotel Management with a clear picture of hotel performance using the data gathered. Run the night audit final, after ensuring all revenue is in balance. Complete end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and roll the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit. Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications. While acting as a Front Desk Agent, ensure accurate transactions such as: registering hotel guests and assigning rooms, guests and player account maintenance, signing up new members, coupon redemption, awarding comps, and describing benefits of membership to qualified members. Greet all guests and determine how to best assist them. Issue room keys to guests at check-in. Promote promotions and casino events. Respond to all guest inquiries. Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction, and information. Resolve complaints to ensure guest satisfaction. Perform all other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Indirectly may supervise Front Desk Agents, Guest Service, Retail and Housekeeping staff.
GENERAL CONDITIONS Must have ability to:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or (GED) preferred. Two (2) years accounting experience in a hotel environment. Excellent guest service skills. Cash handling experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software including LMS. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Detail oriented. Critical thinking and ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Read, write and speak English fluently. Schedule flexibility must be willing and able to work all shifts, nights, overnights, weekends and holidays. REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES In addition to the other duties described herein, each team members has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
Employment is contingent on receiving and maintaining adequate licensing, including any required gaming license. Attend required training sessions offered by the Spokane Tribe Casino. Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations. Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Casino. Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not encouraged or permitted to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco products. Refer to the Internal Control System and Policy Manuals for guidance. Take the appropriate steps to report exceptions, fraud, acts of wrongdoing, and potential violations of regulations or internal controls to the appropriate levels of management. Uphold high standards of ethical behavior and uphold a high level of confidentiality. Demonstrate an understanding of the impacts of problem gambling and have knowledge of the Casino's programs to address problem gambling.
