Hilo Operator & General Laborer

Afternoons- (3pm-1am) Monday-Friday & (3pm-11pm) Saturday
Hilo Operator & General Laborer Load empty racks. Remove full racks from tracks. Retrieve spaces and racks throughout the plant. Direct the drivers on which scrap trailer to return. Communicate with other plants when scrap trailers are needed. Other tasks assigned by the foreman or manager.
This job may require the physical ability to perform the duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting. Continuous lifting to 75 pounds from the floor to an average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, and extreme temperatures. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of working experience with operating Hilo. Hilo certification preferred. Working experience in a manufacturing facility. Experience packing in a manufacturing facility.  Experience operating extrusion saw (preferred). Must have excellent attendance and work ethic. Must have reliable transportation. Must have excellent attendance and work ethic. Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed. Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed. Training Use of proper PPE (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.). Safety Rules and practices. On the Job Training: Daily Forklift Inspections Checklist Operating Forklift Proper removal and deposit of scrap materials Various Measuring tools (i.e: square, tape measure, etc.) Minimum Requirements Minimum of 5 years of working experience with operating Hilo. Hilo certification preferred. Working experience in a manufacturing facility. Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
