Responsibilities
• Under direct supervision and guidance from the service manager or technician• Diagnose and repair truck system components• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on trailers• Learn and repair minor wreck damage• Install new parts and complete required documentation• Lubricate moving parts and follow safety rules• Assist with shop workflow and branch operations• Demonstrate excellent attendance and adhere to company policies• Work in a commercial/industrial tire and mechanical truck service center• Ensure safe working conditions and maintain cleanliness of work area
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED• At least 1-year experience in the industry• Clean driving record and at least 21 years old• Valid Class C Driver's License or ability to receive within 6 months• Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification• Commercial TIA certification required after 6 months• Medium/Heavy Truck ASE certifications preferred• Pass background check and drug screen• Ability to provide own hand tools• Basic computer and/or smartphone skills
