This position will work throughout Northern Tennessee and surrounding areas. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. This position will be responsible for managing construction projects from pre-construction to project completion. Description: New business development and project estimating Reviewing proposals, plans, drawings, and specifications Working with internal and external personnel on the development of project plans, safety plans, resource plans, etc. Providing direction, training and leadership to project crews including sub-contractors and other personnel Interfacing with local officials, inspectors, and other state transportation cabinet personnel Managing project(s) including job cost tracking Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge on various types of heavy equipment (graders, dozers, trackhoes, etc.) Excellent project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills with attention to detail Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Preferably, 10 years of direct industry experience including supervision of a variety of site personnel Positive customer service-oriented attitude.
