Health Educator

ROSWELL INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Health Educator. As a Health Educator, you will play a vital role in promoting and improving the health and well-being of our students. Responsibilities Develop and deliver health education programs and curriculum to students of various grade levels Conduct presentations and workshops on various health-related topics, such as nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and substance abuse prevention Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate health education into the overall school curriculum Evaluate and assess student needs and develop individualized health plans when necessary Provide support and guidance to students on personal health issues and concerns Organize and coordinate school wellness initiatives and events Serve as a resource for teachers and parents on health-related matters Requirements Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, or a related field Experience working with students in an educational or community setting Strong knowledge of health education principles and practices Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in using computer software and technology for educational purposes Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training & Development Work From Home Wellness Resources
