Chesterton Academy of the Rogue Valley is seeking a full-time HeadmasterThe Headmaster will serve as the educational leader of the schoolThe Headmaster must be a practicing Roman Catholic and possess a Master's Degree in Administration or related field
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Oversee adherence to curriculum and academic excellence• Teach 2-3 courses and oversee faculty hiring and evaluation• Ensure discipline policies are enforced and oversee extracurricular activities• Regularly communicate with parents and contribute to the weekly newsletter• Ignite support for classical education and participate in fundraising events• Admit or deny new students and oversee the transfer student process
Requirements
• Must be practicing Roman Catholic• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred• 4+ years of experience in secondary school teaching or administration preferred• 2+ years teaching experience in a classical school environment preferred• 1+ years of experience overseeing fundraising preferred• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills required• Resilient and adaptable with strong time management and organizational skills• Committed to the mission of Chesterton Schools Network and the teachings of the Catholic Church
