LOCATION DOROT is headquartered on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and the team works on a hybrid schedule. The Growth Marketing Manager will be expected to work in the office a minimum of three days a week.

ABOUT THE ADVANCEMENT TEAM The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for DOROT's internal and external communications and any related PR and marketing to support the recruitment of donors, older adults, and volunteers. They are part of the Advancement Team which also includes Development/Fundraising. 
THE OPPORTUNITY The Growth Marketing Manager is a new role, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications and working closely with the Senior Program Team. They will work to build and implement new agency-wide strategies to attract older adults, volunteers and donors to our community and look at new ways to build synergies and ensure alignment with overall agency marketing and communications initiatives that showcase DOROT's work and the impact on the lives of older adults in New York City, Westchester, and beyond.
Working cross-functionally with the Marketing and Program teams, the Growth Marketing Manager will also work to establish and meet organizational goals, increasing the number of older adult and volunteer constituents we serve while enhancing communications with current constituents to deepen their participation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Growth Marketing and Outreach Develop and implement a marketing plan to increase the number of older adults and volunteers participating in DOROT programs utilizing a range of mediums—digital, print, media, mail, and email. Analyze potential older adult and volunteer markets and resources to design a multi-prong outreach strategy. Identify senior-serving organizations, community organizations, and virtual spaces for recruitment. Set measurable goals and timelines and manage marketing campaigns from start to finish including workflow of various staff responsibilities across departments. Manage photoshoots, filming projects for recruitment and engagement materials as well as media requests. Content Development & Engagement In partnership with the Manager of Digital Content, the Growth Marketing Manager will: produce marketing material aligned with DOROT's brand guidelines. coordinate design and production of content for all program departments' marketing needs, aligned to DOROT's brand standards. ensure all program departments have the tools necessary to promote programs, proactively seeking to engage new and existing audiences. Create engaging messaging and materials to effectively introduce DOROT's programs and services to new constituents. Work with Program Team leadership to implement an ongoing communication strategy, such as periodic digital and print communications, keeping older adults informed and pique their interest in ongoing programs as well as new offerings. Impact Measurement artner with the Senior Program Team and Program Directors to develop clear objectives and success measures for all communications initiatives related to new older adult and volunteer recruitment. The Manager may be assigned special projects as deemed appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree. 5+ years of related experience in growth marketing, ideally with mission driven organizations Proven track record in developing marketing materials, including digital, print and social, that achieve stated goals.  Experience using digital tools, including Google Analytics, Canva and MailChimp and managing website content on a WordPress site preferred. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Availability to work occasional evening and weekend hours for special projects, and up to four Sundays a year for Package Deliveries and other activities.
