Position: Grounds Maintenance/Porter
In addition to hourly pay, Grounds Maintenance is eligible for monthly commissions! Requirements: Knowledge of common hand tools ( screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, etc.). Must work inside and outside in all types of weather. Medium to heavy lifting up to 100 lbs. Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching. Familiar with landscaping and use of landscaping, such as lawnmower, hedge trimmer, string trimmer, etc. Other power tools including, but not limited to, power floor cleaner, carpet shampoo machine, power drain cleaner, chain saw and key machine. Valid driver's license and good driving record required. May be required to be certified to use pool chemicals depending on the location. Duties: Grounds Maintenance is an entry-level position that performs light maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Assists with repairs and improvements of vacant apartments for a market-ready status. Works as a team participant along with the maintenance staff to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by the Company. The ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail is required.
